Countering the Mass Shooter Threat
Is your church or organization prepared if targeted by a mass shooter?
· Has your church/organization been through a deliberate planning process to develop an Emergency Operations Plan?
· Do your congregants/employees know what to do if a shooter showed up at your building?
· Is your building itself ready to facilitate the safety of your people?
If the answer to one or more of these questions is “no” or “I don’t know,” Invictus Defense is ready to help!
This course covers topics such as:
Knowing the signs and psychology of a mass shooter
Analysis of previous mass shootings to learn from mistakes of the past
Creating an Emergency Operations Plan

How to conduct a full-scale exercise with local first responders

I will also evaluate your organization’s current physical security posture. As an Army Ranger, my job was to be an expert in making entry into a building in order to conduct our operation. I will use this expertise to explain the weaknesses I see in your current security posture. I will then suggest countermeasures based on our findings and your budget.
This course is for schools, businesses and any other organization that wants to take their security posture seriously. As a member of a local church here in the DMV , making this course available to local churches specifically is a passion of mine. God willing, we will never have to deal with a mass shooter in any of our local congregations, but it is a fallen world. I want to help churches and other organizations to be prepared if trouble does show up at their doors.

Reviews From Students
“Sean has a background that makes him uniquely suited as an instructor for this class. He was a Ranger with combat experience previously in his life, and is a Christian. He was able to draw upon those experiences to enhance the presentation and to field questions. I feel that any member of a church security team would benefit by taking this class.” -Robert M.
“Sean was great at explaining all of the information in a clear, and practical way. I have more confidence now that my response to an active shooter event will help increase me and my loved ones chances of surviving. I am looking forward to more training with Sean” -Mike G.
“Sean gave a good solid broad class covering a lot of ground. Very insightful, very helpful and very relevant to our times. Every church or organization should put this class in their protection tool kit making it a priority to parishioner protection. -Michael S.
